Clarification Text on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data
1. PURPOSE ARENA SPORTS & TRAVEL respects the privacy of your personal data and values your data security. In this context, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") and relevant legislation; we process, store, and protect the personal data of our customers, potential customers, business partners, employees, visitors, and job applicants in a lawful manner. This text has been prepared to explain the purposes for which your personal data shared with ARENA SPORTS & TRAVEL will be processed, with whom it may be shared, your rights, and our data security policy.
2. DEFINITIONS Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person Personal Data Processing: Any operation performed on personal data such as collection, recording, storage, alteration, disclosure, deletion, etc. Data Controller: The real/legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing the data recording system Relevant Person: The natural person whose personal data is processed Data Processor: The real/legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.

4. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING Your collected personal data;
Planning and execution of our sports, tournament, and travel services
Management of tournament, event, and organization registration processes
Creation of participant (athlete, team, official) lists and accreditation processes
Organization and execution of travel, accommodation, transfer, and visa processes
Management of customer relations
Tracking of proposal, contract, and sales processes
Execution of financial and accounting transactions (billing, payment tracking, etc.)
Conducting marketing activities, event announcements, and campaign notifications (with necessary permissions)
Responding to your communication requests (questions, requests, complaints)
Ensuring physical security
Fulfillment of legal obligations (insurance notifications, reporting to official institutions, etc.)
Processed in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, limited to the purposes stated above.
5. METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION AND LEGAL BASIS Your personal data is collected through various channels such as our website, registration forms, email, phone, face-to-face meetings, organization registration booths, proposal and contract processes; either fully or partially automatically or through non-automatic means as part of the data recording system. Data is processed based on the following legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the KVKK:
Establishment or performance of a contract
Fulfillment of legal obligations
Legitimate interests of the data controller
Explicit consent (in necessary cases such as marketing activities)
6. TRANSFER OF DATA Your personal data may be transferred, in accordance with the above purposes and for the provision of services, to:
Our suppliers (hotels, airlines and transfer companies, visa consultants, local agencies)
Relevant sports federations, organizing committees, and event partners
Insurance companies
Legally authorized public institutions and organizations (upon request)
Our tax and financial advisors
Providers of IT and software services (server, email, reservation software, etc.)
Our legal advisors, with necessary security measures taken in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, both domestically and (to the extent required by the service) abroad.
7. STORAGE AND DESTRUCTION OF DATA Your personal data is stored for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation and/or for as long as required by the purpose of processing, and at the end of this period, it is periodically deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. The storage and destruction of data are carried out in accordance with the ARENA SPORTS & TRAVEL Personal Data Storage and Destruction Policy.
8. RIGHTS OF THE RELEVANT PERSON According to Article 11 of the KVKK, regarding your personal data;
Learn whether it is processed
Request information if it has been processed
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately
Know the third parties to whom it has been transferred
Request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed
Request deletion/destruction
Request notification of these requests to third parties to whom it has been transferred
Object to the outcome of the analysis conducted by automated systems against you
Request compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing.
